BLACKEST DAWN was founded in 2005. In the same year the band released their first EP "Artefacts". This was written by Alexander Dietz (known for his work with NEAERA, MAROON, HEAVEN SHALL BURN) and produced. The first complete album "Fear 0f The Apocalypse" was already published in 2007. 2011 followed with "Soulgrinder" already the next album, which will be released via District 763 Records was released. 2013, only 2 years later the most successful BLACKEST DAWN Album "We Are Legions" released. This was again mixed and mastered by Alexander Dietz. Due to the the great success of the album BLACKEST DAWN was able to a multitude of great shows. Already in September 2017 the recordings for the new album "The New" began. Guard" at the Nekrowerk Studios in Nordhausen. Mid 2018 the album was finished at Kohnstein 23 Studios. For the mix and mastering this time Alexander "Seifo" was Seifert is responsible.
