After their much praised predecessor "Artifacts" (2017) the Belgian ethno jazz quintet Black Flower presents their third album "Future Flora". Although the tracks are based on rich, omnipresent grooves, they still leave room for psychedelia, folklore and experiment. The result is a psychedelic ethno-dub-jazz trip of the 21st century with echoes of Mulatu Astatke and Fela Kuti. Press comments on the predecessor "Artifacts": "Artifacts' joy is irrepressible." - Q Mag "A very special album indeed." - Record Collector "A vibrant album which bends the purist rules of world music to good effect." - The Independent "A funky 70s variant on the ?thiopiques sound." - Songlines "Brilliant." - Gilles Peterson
