Olliver's troubadour spirit is now fully developed as he prepares for the release of his third album "For All My Former Lovers". His new album is a collection of songs that tell of heartache, love, loss and youth. Equipped only with a guitar, but with a great self-confidence, Danny Olliver has made a global name for himself. Olliver, who by the way comes from Regina in Saskatchewans, Canada, learned to play guitar on an abandoned three-stringed Yamaha, which he saved from bulky waste. After a few exercises and adding another three strings, he started writing his own songs. Inspired by guitarists like Don Ross and Antoine Dufour, Danny focused on fingerstyle pieces. He toured with bands like The Dead South, Colter Wall and Michael Bernard Fitzgerald and has played more than 500 shows in Canada and Europe since the release of his first album. Now Danny Olliver returns to Europe for more dates with The Dead South.
