Knight is accompanied by Jason Isbell's Band The 400 Unit. Besides Isbell (guitar and vocals), the band 400 Unit consists of from Derry Deborja (piano, organ and accordion), Chad Gamble (drums and percussion), Jimbo Hart (guitar, ukulelele and double bass), Sadler Vaden (electric guitar), acoustic guitar and 12-string acoustic guitar) and Amanda Shires (violin and vocals). "The songs reflect very strongly the time, in which they were have been written. In this time the world is still "I've become crazier than ever." In the course of his career Ritter has released ten albums, including "Gathering", which in 2017 ranked number 4 on Billboard's Americana/Folk Albums Charts and received a lot of praise.
