Strictly limited, hand-numbered box set: 10x12" + 2 Mixtapes + Compost logo metal pin + jute bag + sticker pack + liner notes. 25 years Compost Records. Wow! For many, the label is one of the best German indie labels for club music in general, in particular one of the leading labels for house, future jazz and downbeat. A lot of nice evidence for this can be found in this box set: dozens of producers, DJs, label makers and companions gave their thoughts, dedications and great quotes to the Compost anniversary. One can proudly claim that Compost is regarded worldwide as the pioneer of the Future Jazz genre. The very successful and highly acclaimed compilation series "Future Sounds Of Jazz", "Gl?cklich", "Elaste" or "Party Keller" are still timeless highlights. For the 20th anniversary there was an extensive book - for the 25th we again let the music speak more: The idea was to have Compost favourite tunes reinterpreted by esteemed artists. We are therefore very pleased that we were able to win talented young producers as well as many of our all-time favourite producers for this project. In addition to the numerous remixes, this strictly limited and hand-numbered 10x12" box also contains out-of-print label classics in vinyl format as well as some exclusive tracks. Additionally, the impressive label history and background stories can be discovered in the liner notes written by Michael Reinboth himself. On top' there are Compost Records gimmicks, a download code (complete tracklisting + bonus tracks) and one mixtape each from Michael Reinboth and Thomas Herb.
