The Norwegian rock trio BOKASSA is happy to release their new album "Crimson Riders" on June 21st. BOKASSA fuse in their unique way stoner rock riffs with punk and hardcore. Their debut album 2017, "Divide & Conquer", has been praised by critics around the world. Metal Hammer UK celebrated the album as one of the best debut albums of 2017 and described it as "intense, unpretentiously creative and relentlessly rhythmic". "Crimson Riders" was recorded at home in Trondheim's Brygga Studio. The album was produced together with Yngve Andersen (Blood Command), mixed by Simon Jackman and mastered by the legendary Brian "Big Bass" Gardener. BOKASSA raves: "We are very happy to release Crimson Riders". Nine songs that revolve around everything from cults, religion and border patrols to beer-drenched antiheroes and immortal space pirates. The album offers the listener everything from classic stoner punk tracks, groovy desert songs and high-speed trash metal to hardcore-oriented sing-a-long songs. This time we also played in the studio with cello and saxophone, so expect some curveballs here and there
