Many Sol Invictus albums today stand as landmarks of their genre, Tony Wakeford is considered one of the founding fathers of Apocalyptic Folk alongside Douglas P. of Death In June and David Tibet of Current 93. After some of their records have been deleted for years, Auerbach are pleased to present the first release in their series of planned digi-pack re-issues across the Sol Invictus back catalogue. His future works will also attest to the fact that Mr. Wakeford hasn't lost his punch and that the original is always better than any copy.
