Dirk Ivens (Guitars / FX) is a man who made history. Since 1980 he has been a style-shaping force in Industrial and EBM with bands such as Absolute Body Control, The Klinik and Dive and has created a work whose radiance will outlast his time. Now he has teamed up with two like-minded people, Joeri Dobbeleir ( Guitars / Synths) from The Whereabouts of J Albert and Dries D'Hollander ( Drums / Percussion), ex-Suburb songs, and together they celebrate the influences of their favourite music. One of the roots of electronic music is the Krautrock of the seventies. As a German counterpart to the larger-than-life Prog Rock, the freedom of this music was the right approach for the still unlimited possibilities of synthesizers. MOTOR!K want to pay tribute to this development and remember the roots of the music they have loved for so long. The debut album is a single pull that lets the listener fall into a trance and completely forget the worries of everyday life - the perfect and completely drug-free intoxication!
