Chiara Castello and Camilla Matley are I'm Not a Blonde. They live in Milan and have been writing music together since 2014. They see themselves inspired by the beats and synthesizers of the 80s as well as by punk guitars and the melodies of the 90s. With their haunting performances they became a sought-after live act, opened for The Killers and Franz Ferdinand, were part of the Live At Heart Festival in Sweden and played club shows in other European cities. The sound of the album reflects this journey of inwardness. Energetic, positive electropop songs are the focus and also make the live shows sweaty matters. But the depth of the content is always there, in the form of melancholic guitars or aggressive text passages.
