The Golden Dregs is the project of the London musician Benjamin Woods, whose debut album "Lafayette" was released in 2018 on the indie label Art Is Hard Records (Flamingods, Penelope Isles, The Orielles). With "Hope Is For The Hopeless", the baritone crooner delivers another small masterpiece between Americana, Alt-Country, Indie and Pubrock with his powerful grater voice, which reminds of either The Magnetic Fields, Silver Jews or Dan Michaelson.
