DARKMOON WARRIOR was founded in 1996 by Atom Krieg and Grommon. At first it was a project that concentrated on the mix of dark noise and ambient. Only in 2009, after the release of the second album Crown Of Snakes, the band decided to play live. This was followed by individual gigs, festival shows and short tours in Germany and the surrounding countries. 2013 saw the release of the third album Nuke 'em all. As in previous years, DARKMOON WARRIOR played a few shows and started working on their successor. As a result, there were creative differences of opinion within the band, so that founding member Grommon left the band in 2018. The remaining members started recording the new album Angels of Dirt -Beasts of Rebellion. Meanwhile on their way as a trio, the band continues their path of hateful but at the same time emotionally dark Black Metal.
