Jay-Z sampled them for his successful album "4:44", now the British soul tornado Hannah Williams is ready to start internationally himself. When hip-hop superstar Jay-Z sampled her spectacular song "Late Nights & Heartbreak" for the title track of his album in 2017, music fans all over the world became aware of her. With her excellent band "The Affirmations" from Bristol she now presents her new album "50 Foot Woman", which is soulful beyond all measure and sums up her previous career perfectly. It will be released on October 18th on the Milan label Record Kicks. The album captures the wild energy you know from the legendary live performances of the band. Classical soul and psychedelic funk are mixed here in such a modern way that the unique sound will dominate the soul music of 2019 - and beyond. "I've never been so proud of anything like this album in my life," says Hannah.
