The debut album by Berlin based rock band Red N Black. "To describe a band and it's origins can possibly give a closer insight in to why that band makes that kind of music. So, Red n Black are the first real fruit of a tree that has been planted way back in the days of “west berlin”. The band that it has become is what the good side of Berlins spirit has always represented, made of a mix of different nations... We are: - Till Hertling, born in Berlin, on: guitar and singing - Liam Morrison, born in LA, on: drums - Gordon Ashdown, born in Maidstone (England) on: bass - Richard Green, also from Maidstone, on: guitar Drawn together by the love for hand made music and sharing the love for certain sounds and feels, that were big in the times between the fifties and early seventies… But again, this is limiting oneself with words where sound can tell so much more… Being fully aware that it has all been done before, and that all you can come up with in that field are your own variations of storys and sounds!" We concentrate mainly on Film Soundtracks and Bands of different origin, predominantly Americana, Blues-Rock and alike. In 2013 Wenders Music released the studio album „Im Westen der Himmel“ by the Berlin Band „Infamis“. The latest band aboard is also Berlin based “Red N Black”. Their debut album “Lost But Grounded” will be out in late 2019. Wenders Music was founded in 2008 alongside the film “Palermo Shooting”. Its soundtrack features filmmusic by Irmin Schmidt (Can) and some original compositions by bands such as Grinderman, Get Well Soon, Beirut and many more.
