If Leif Edling had ever dreamed that he would be one of the most influential Doom bands of the Planets? In 1987 "Nightfall", the second album of the Doom Heroes, was recorded. The album was the first, on which Messiah Marcolin could be heard singing. Messiah brought a crass voice with her - the voice of Candlemass, that would have a lasting impact on the doom world. In the year 2019 Candlemass are still present - this year their current studio album "The Door To Doom" came onto the market, which climbed to number 18 of the charts in Germany. The classic "Nightfall" was out of stock for some time, is now available as a new Digipak CD and exclusive Coloured-LP in the colour gold new out.
