After having spent most of their time in worlds beyond with their seven albums so far, Eden Weint Im Grab dare to take the step from this world to the beyond with their eighth longplayer. It's a murder album and another conceptual work. Each song deals with a concrete murder case. In typical EwiG manner it's also dark, bizarre and sometimes humorous this time. The dark metal of the Berlin band has become even heavier and harder and scores with a modern production. Of course the chamber music and symphonic elements are not missing either, which give the sound that certain something besides the expressive singing. So now the sound, which the band itself described as heavy metal horror romanticism, has been enriched by a new facet. Tragic comedies from the Mordarchiv are like a crime series for the head cinema - energetic, exciting and, despite all the tragedy, also a little funny.
