The excellent third album of Finnish pagan/folk metal lords Moonsorrow - Kivenkantaja - is pressed on vinyl for the first time in history in a triple-gatefold 200-gram special edition release by cult Finnish label - Blood Music. The album is notorious as the band's first foray into stronger progressive sounds, with the opening track clocking in at almost fourteen minutes! This album was pressed and presented as part of the Moonsorrow "Heritage" 14xLP Box Set - the largest metal box set in history - which sold out in pre-orders and got coverage on every major metal blog out there. There were only four albums made available outside the box set, utilizing the brand new vinyl masters, which have been considered superior to the CD release by everyone involved, as well as the hand-drawn, special edition artwork.
