Mott The Hoople were founded in the 70s and are considered to be the forerunners of glam rock. To the 50th birthday the band is now releasing "The Golden Age Of Rock'n'Roll", a Best Of compilation, which is a cross section of the band reflects perfectly. Above all, of course, the over hit "All The Young Dudes" but also songs like "Honaloochie Boogie", "All The Way From Memphis", "Roll Away The Stone" or "The Golden Age of Rock'n'Roll". Mott The Hoople were over the years it's been a big influence for bands like Queen, The Clash, Kiss, Primal Scream, M?tley Cr?e, Cheap Trick or Def Leppard. Joe Elliott of Def Lep is even an avowed mega fan of Mott. Again and again there were Reunions to perform live. Most recently in 2019 for a UK and US tour. Also this year the "Live At Hammersmith 1973".
