OPAL - Happy Nightmare Baby (Sealed) (CD)

Opal was a band in the mid 80's that were part of the Paisley Underground scene in California. Originally called Clay Allison, the band featured David Roback, Kendra Smith and Keith Mitchell. "Happy Nightmare Baby" was the band's first full-length album from 1987 released by the legendary SST Records. Singer-songwriter Hope Sandoval joined the band shortly after and so with they became the reknown group Mazzy Star. This is the re-issue of the long out of print release!
