First time on vinyl, Port Frienly's debut record including "Take me To Paris", limited to 250 copies. Expect sublime Independent/Slowcore resembling the likes of e.g. Sophia, Spain or Hederos & Hellberg. The band members are Sebastian Hoeg Gulmann - vocals, electric & acoustic guitar, Peter Neergaard Henrichsen - vocals, electric & acoustic guitar, drums, piano, keyboard, mouth harp and Martin Krogh - bass, with Per Buhl (engineering, sound) "WWR-14, will be our most limited yet - 250 copies, all numbered. We will release the debut album by the danish group Port Friendly called 'Welcome to Port Friendly'. This record originally came out in 1995 - and this album have always been a dream for us to release - it's soo good. The album was well received in Denmark as it was in the British medias, but like so often before this does not mean massive sales - we hope this will give them at least a few more listeners, which is well deserved. They released two further cds - and the band has actually never called it quits. So who knows..
