This is the first recording of the complete piano works of George Frederick Pinto (1785-1806). The pianist Marek Toporowski chose five copies of historical instruments, fortepianos, which do full justice to the character and sound of Pinto's exceptional piano music. The booklet contains extensive accompanying texts about the composer and his works as well as photos and descriptions of the instruments used.
