The three albums are based on a complex Sci-Fi background story, which is constantly being expanded. The 24-page booklet on Crossroads also contains a story by Austrian science fiction author Andreas Gruber, which fits seamlessly into this universe and is reflected in the album's lyrics and music. Also included in the booklet is a code for downloading three unreleased tracks from the excellently designed band website, which will be elaborately relaunched on August 15th. But nevertheless the music of course provides the backbone of Mind.In.A.Box's fascination, and here the duo manages to weave a successful synthesis of the first two albums, the half narrative elements of the story, the really outstanding, weightless programming and the independent sound design. Above all there is an excellent songwriting and the equally high-quality variable vocals, as well as the dense atmosphere, with which together the successful artwork closes the circle to an outstanding product.
