The blues relationship represented on "Family Reunion" is fucking big. Plus a whole phalanx of 12-beat friends. They are Kai Strauss, Tosho Todorovic from the Blues Company, Tommy Schneller, Henrik Freischlader, Gregor Hilden, Gernot Dechert, Moses Pelham as well as Jimmy Kunes (ex-Savoy Brown). The Blues Bang band consists of singer Jessica Born, Harper/singer Felix Z?llner, bassist Raoul Walton, keyboardist Markus Lauer from the Funky B & The Kings Of Shuffle and Moritz M?ller on drums. The songs, recorded in various studios, including Toolhouse Studio Rothenburg, Blackcreek Recorder Frankfurt or M?hle der Freundschaft, Bad Iburg, were mixed and mastered by Martin Meinsch?fer at Megaphon Studios, Arnsberg. The thirteen cover songs are joined by an Ali Neander own composition with the title "Keep It Up".
