Ludwig van Beethoven was a visionary, there would be the new program of the Klezmer Quartet Klezmer Pastorale, Beethoven meets Klezmer, probably to his taste. Thus the well-known theme of his 6th symphony, the Pastorale becomes a klezmer dance or Beethoven's Choir of Dervishes becomes an oriental encounter. Of course, other delicious Klezmer blends, such as the Western Skotshne, also become a real feast for the ears. The Ensemble Noisten is a constant in the German music scene and beyond. Also this time the quartet with Reinald Noisten (clarinet, bass clarinet), Andreas Kneip (double bass), Claus Schmidt (guitar, bouzouki, ney flute) and Shanmugalingam Devakuruparan (tabla, darbuka, mirudamgam, morching, mastanets, kalimba) presents itself as usual stylistically confident and eager to experiment. Their trademark: irrepressible joy of playing, virtuoso technique and stylish arrangements
