June 2020 but there's a new PRODUCT! six years after their last album the Viennese Indie Rockers M185 are back with a new longplayer. Rumour has it that they were abducted by aliens, but that's probably another story. Whimpering synths, creaky samplers, shimmering sound surfaces and a hypnotizing groove: On their new album "Product" the Viennese band M185 combines extra-worldly musical experience with real political statements and reinvents itself in the process. Despite all the changes and estrangements, the driving force behind M185's music making has remained the same: euphoria. Just as the reference of disco music with its promise of ecstasy has been incorporated into the album, M185 makes the irrepressible feeling of euphoria audible.
