Before the French pianist, composer and arranger CHRISTOPHE CHASSOL, who is one of the most sought-after representatives of the contemporary French music scene and who received an invitation from GILLES PETERSON to the renowned Meltdown Festival last year, set off on a cultural (as well as family) search for traces of the Caribbean Antilles, he presented a concept album two years earlier on which he explored the fascinating and multi-layered (music) culture of India.
