Fred Eaglesmith is an expert when it comes to being on tour as a musician. The alto country singer-songwriter started playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 10. As a teenager he toured as a performer, released 22 records and became a cult hero to his fans (the self-proclaimed Fred Heads), won a Juno Award and performed on the Grand Ol Opry. Known for both his storytelling truthing and his tour schedule of 200 dates a year, Fred is an institution in the roots music world like no other. But when it comes to love, Fred met his musical match in Texas singer-songwriter Tif Ginn. Ginn grew up in a musical family and Tif and her sister Brit started performing in an offshoot of the family band as little children. As adults, Tif and Brit formed The Fabulous Ginn Sisters and released three critically acclaimed albums. The duo toured for nearly a decade when an impromptu collaboration at the Old Settler's Music Festival in Texas in 2009 gave them the opportunity to sing backup for Eaglesmith and earned them an invitation to join the band. Now married and presumably living on the tour bus, Eaglesmith and Ginn give endless concerts throughout North America and Europe and live their happiness to the end of their days. Their combined talent creates a distinctive songwriting powerhouse that has won hearts around the world.
