In 1963 Shapiro performed in the Gaumont of Bradford. The supporting act of the 16-year-old singer was the then up-and-coming Beatles. Until 1964 she could place four of her six released records in the Top 40. Until 1967 the singer recorded records for Columbia, Pye and Arista. All early titles until then are available on Best Of compilations. But for the first time 25 single A and B sides of the singer between 1697 and 1994 are bundled on one sampler. Repertoire from five different labels in their original mono and stereo mixes. Among them the German-language 'Das Ist Nicht Die Feine Englische Art'.
