KRISTJANA STEFANS has been one of the leading artists in the Icelandic jazz scene for years. She is also an award-winning composer for theater. Her first album was released in 1996 with international guest star Emiliana Torrini and Icelandic pop icon P?ll ?skar. Since then she has made recordings as a soloist and guest actress. She performs regularly in theaters, radio and television and collaborates with the REYKJAVIK BIG BAND every year. SVAVAR KNUTUR's performances have been widely praised by both the Icelandic and international press. The German edition of Rolling Stone magazine especially mentioned Svavar's extraordinary storytelling talent and charismatic stage presence, which comes along with 'soft, Nordic folk music'.
