HEXECUTOR - Poison,Lust And Damnation (Sealed) (LP)

HEXECUTOR are a band from France that really deserves the stamp "Thrash Metal", because that's exactly what "Poison, Lust And Damnation" is through and through. One uptempo number chases the next, and howling guitars screech with singer Jey Deflagrat?r so much that the screams on Agents Steels 'Agents Of Steel' seem almost deep. The record goes straight and energetic, but also has many playful moments and one or two nice acoustic breathers (like in the outro of 'Visitation Of A Lascivious Entity'). One could grumble that the wheel has not been reinvented here, or simply let fresh eighties thrash be served up and leave the rest to the avant-garde. 'Mandy Malon
