ANRMAL is Juana Molina's first live album on her long career path. It was recorded at the NRMAL festival in Mexico just before the world came to a standstill in March and is a testimony to how the world "before" used to be. Through the powerful set runs such a rousing punk rock vibe that it gives us hope for better times. When Juana Molina started out as a musician more than two decades ago, her compositions were rather reflected and reduced to the essential. Mostly she played solo concerts with her guitar, a keyboard and effect devices. Over the years, her concerts became wilder and wilder and her records more and more intense and extroverted, which could be seen on the tours to her last albums. On ANRML, which will be released on October 23rd, Juana Molina will be accompanied by her band mates Odin Schwartz on bass and Pablo Gonz?lez on drums, who add an extra portion of energy to the performance. The set includes pieces from Juanas last albums Halo, Wed 21 as well as the re-release Un d?a and the EP "Forfun", all released on Crammed Discs. The album was mixed by Juana Molina's sound engineer Marcelo Coca Monte.
