Kings Of The Valley emerge from Norway's fjords to make retroprog big again. It seems that another export banger is growing here, with its feet deep in past decades and its head in the here and now. The dreamy vocals of Christopher Roseth Sand bring their own touch to the 70s band sound. Musically they move between psychedelic and progressive rock, relaxed, leaned back and skilfully, as the Scandinavian bands can do. The critically acclaimed debut EP, with which the band received the highly respected "Bandwagon Award" in Norway in 2018, was still released on Brygga Records. Now the self-titled work is released on "Wonderful&Strange Records" and is distributed in German-speaking countries by Stickman.
