Climate Change - 30th Anniversary Edition In September 1990, DEZTROYER from Hesse released their only LP called „Climate Change“. Probably the somewhat mysterious label D&S only had 100 copies pressed, which explains a price starting at 300 Euro for the original LP. A genuine metal rarity! But just this fact is not enough to justify a re-release. Deztroyer played technically demanding Speed- and Thrash Metal! The late eighties brought forth a whole bunch of bands all over the world, which took this style to a higher level without losing any of its punch. If „Climate Change“ have had a better distribution spread, Deztroyer would be at the forefront when also naming bands like Realm (USA) or Target (Belgium) today. In underground circles, it is of course well known that parts of the band used to work for Arrow, whose two mini LPs are now cult! „Climate Change“ was recorded from an original LP by Patrick Engel (Temple At Disharmony Studio) and then remastered by Neudi (Manilla Road among others). The band not only provided bonus tracks (CD 1), but also all demos, which can now be found on CD2 as remastered versions. In addition, a new cover was provided, which reflects the unfortunately still current topic of climate change as well as the original one being also included and usable as an alternative CD cover. Liner notes and many rare photos top off a perfect re-release.
