In 1996 he formed Narnia together with guitarist CJ Grimmark and the band have reached huge success and released many albums and toured around the world. Last album From Darkness To Light topped the charts in Sweden and got rave reviews worldwide and a great tour in South America with Stryper and more. Christian has also reached success with Divinefire together with Jani Stefanovic especially in Japan. They are now back working together this time also with Jani?s wife Katja Stefanovic and they are calling themselves The Waymaker and their debut album got fantastic feedback worldwide. Other bands and album Christian have been involved in are Audiovision, Golden Resurrection, Wisdom Call, Borderline, Modest Attraction, Flagship and he has done a couple of albums in Swedish under his own name. The Melodic Passion album is the first album where Christian is involved in every moment of the album such as composing all the songs together with Stephen Carlson and been writing all the lyrics and also as producer together with Olov Andersson & Viktor Stenqvist. He played with Christian in Audiovision and they have done tours together as duo with piano and vocals where they perform classics in Swedish but also with Queen, John Miles etc. They both are huge record collectors and share this passion to create this album called Melodic Passion. To get the perfect sound Viktor Stenqvist is the third and very important man in this production. He is the sound engineer for Narnia and mixed the last studio album From Darkness To Light and he has just did an amazing live concert recording with Avatarium The album Melodic Passion delivers hardrock/metal in the finest way with great songwriting and produced in a great way like the big legends from the past. We get memorable songs done with virtuous guitar playing from Stephen Carlson and powerful vocals and backing vocals from Christian. The rhytm section with Andreas & Per is so solid with so much excitement in their playing then add Olov majestic keyboards on Moog, Hammond organ, Taurus and other keyboards and you get a complete album filled with great songs and passion. Then one of the finest piece of music on the album is the ballad “This is my love song” and Svante Henryson plays the cello. He used to play with Yngwie Malmsteen during the Eclipse & Fire & Ice era and he did great bass & cello on when Metallica got the Polar Prize in Stockholm. Svante brings something extra to the song and will be involved on the video as well as This is my love song is the 1:st single/video from the album.
