London's Ritual came to be known during the period of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. The band's debut album entitled "Widow" was originally issued on Legend Records in 1983. Ten years after "Widow" was released, Ritual came up with their second album "Valley Of The Kings", which picked up where they left off in 1983. "Valley Of The Kings" sounds as if it really could (and probably should) have been issued in 1984! Ritual have a special way of blending hard hitting traditional metal riffs with haunting acoustic passages, making for a unique listening experience.
