COLD HARD TRUTH formed in Boston, Lincolnshire, UK, in 2008. Their first release was the "Reflect The Conflict" EP in 2009, followed by the classic "Deliver The Fear" full-length in 2010. The band played all over the UK and started to head to Europe around this time and reached New York also. A quieter period followed with Andy True Valiance singing whilst Tim was away... After Tim's return, the band released the "Truthgetta" album in 2015 and from 2017 onwards, with a new lineup, started to play all over Europe, reaching a lot of new countries and new places in the UK. The new album "Intimidation" was recorded in 2018/2019 and sits somewhere between the groove and power of "Deliver The Fear" and the more metallic and technical riffing of "Truthgetta". Taking influences from classic tough guy bands like Bulldoze, Irate, Built Upon Frustration and earlier Hatebreed, as well as more metallic bands like Arkangel, All Out War and Dying Fetus, whilst paying tribute to the legacy of classic UKHC bands like Knuckledust, Raiden and Stampin Ground, COLD HARD TRUTH is pushing the boundaries of ignorance and brutality further than ever before on "Intimidation", out 29th January 2020 on Rucktion Records.
